World No. 1 and two-time FedEx Cup champion Rory McIlroy will team with 20-time PGA Tour winner and World No. 5 Dustin Johnson to take on fan favorite and five-time winner Rickie Fowler and 2019 NCAA individual champion Matthew Wolff on Sunday. The 2020 TaylorMade Driving Relief, a team skins competition, will take place at the venerated Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Fla. McIlroy and Johnson will compete for the American Nurses Foundation, while Fowler and Wolff will play on behalf of the CDC Foundation, with the $3 million purse going to the charities.

McIlroy has had the attention of Johnson and the rest of the golf world since he broke onto the PGA Tour in 2007. The 31-year-old has been named PGA Tour Player of the Year three times and won the FedEx Cup twice. He also has won four major championships and owns 27 professional victories, including 18 on the PGA Tour. The Northern Irishman leads the PGA in scoring average at 68.4 and has finished no lower than fifth in his five Tour events this season. 

The big-hitting Johnson also has been on the golf guru's radar for some time, also turning pro in 2007. The 35-year-old won the U.S. Open in 2015 and has been one of the top golfers in the world for several years, ranking No. 1 for a total of 91 weeks. Minor knee surgery in September slowed him down, but he was fourth in both driving distance (312 yards) and strokes gained off the tee in 2019. He has finished in the top 10 in two of his four events this season.

Johnson has been keeping tabs on Wolff since he burst onto the scene with his first PGA Tour victory at the 3M Open less than two months after winning the NCAA title for Oklahoma State. He also made the putt to win the team title for the Cowboys in 2018, playing alongside fellow PGA player Viktor Hovland, and both were named to consecutive All-America teams. Wolff has struggled since winning in his third PGA start, but he is 21st on Tour in driving distance and 11th in shots gained off the tee.

Johnson has followed along as Fowler, who also was an All-America golfer at Oklahoma State, has racked up nine worldwide wins. The California native also has finished at least tied for third in each of the four majors, and he can get hot and make huge shots when least expected. The 31-year-old tied for 18th in the Arnold Palmer Invitational before the PGA Tour was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, and he shot in the 60s in five of his eight rounds before that, though he missed the cut twice after poor opening rounds.
